<h2>Xbox One Scorpio als komplette Next-Gen-Konsole</h2>
<p>Dies sieht auch <strong>Thomas Mahler</strong>, CEO von Moon Studios, dem Entwickler des Indie-Hits <strong>Ori and the Blind Forest</strong>, so, der in einem Forum Kritik an der PS4 Pro geäußert hat. Für ihn sei die neueste PS4-Variante nur ein halbherziges Upgrade.</p>

<p>Anders betrachtet Mahler hingegen die <strong>Xbox One Scorpio</strong>, bei der es sich um eine echte und komplette Next-Gen-Konsole handeln soll. Nur weil diese auch eine <strong>Abwärtskompatibilität</strong> zu älteren Spielen bietet, sollte diese nicht auf ein Level mit der PS4 Pro gestellt werden.</p>
<h2>PlayStation 4 Pro nur ein halbherziges Upgrade</h2>
<p>Die deutlichen Aussagen sind definitiv interessant, zumal es auch andere Entwickler geben könnte, die in die gleiche Kerbe schlagen. Insbesondere die Tatsache, dass die Xbox One Scorpio <strong>natives 4K</strong> bieten soll und deutlich mehr Leistung bringen sollte als die PS4 Pro, sind hier als Pluspunkte der kommenden Microsoft-Konsole zu nennen.</p>
<p>Große Unterschiede könnten sich hierbei zeigen, wenn die <strong>Entwickler</strong> die Möglichkeiten der Scorpio-Xbox ausreizen und die Ergebnisse deutliche Unterschiede im Vergleich zur jeweiligen PS4-Pro-Version aufzeigen. Dann nämlich könnte Sony gegenüber dem größten Konkurrenten ins Hintertreffen geraten.</p>

<h2>Battlefield 1: Vergleichsvideo zwischen PS4 Pro und PS4</h2>
<p>Nun gibt es ein erstes <strong>Video</strong> zu sehen, das die Vergleiche zwischen der Version für die normale <strong>PlayStation 4</strong> und die PlayStation 4 Pro zeigt. Ebenjenes Video ist definitiv interessant und lässt sich im Folgenden anschauen:</p>

<p>Zudem haben die Tester von <em>Digital Foundry</em> festgestellt, dass die Variante für die PS4 Pro deutlich flüssiger läuft, zwischen <strong>10 und 15 fps</strong> mehr wurden im Schnitt verzeichnet. Somit läuft Battlefield 1 für die PS4 Pro definitiv flüssiger, wengleich <strong>konstante 60 fps</strong> wohl nicht erreicht werden.</p>
<h2>PlayStation 4 Pro soll Erfolgsgarant für Sony werden</h2>
<p>Das Video lässt auf jeden Fall erkennen, dass es zwischen der PlayStation 4 Pro und der standardmäßigen PlayStation 4 diverse <strong>Unterschiede</strong> zu finden gibt. Ob diese ausreichen werden, um viele Spieler von einem Kauf zu bewegen, bleibt abzuwarten.</p>
<p>Zumindest bis Ende 2017 dürfte Sony das Feld des 4K-Gamings im Konsolenbereich für sich haben, danach wird mit der <strong>Xbox One Scorpio</strong> eine Konsole auf den Markt kommen, die als leistungsstärkste Konsole aller Zeiten angepriesen wird. Das sorgt dafür, dass die neue Xbox sogar natives 4K bei den meisten Spielen bieten wird &#8211; im Gegensatz zum Upscaling der PS4 Pro.</p>

<h2>Xbox One Scorpio: Natives 4K laut Xbox-Verantwortlichem</h2>
<p>Der Xbox-Verantwortliche Aaron Greenberg hat sich in einem Interview nun zu den Fähigkeiten der Xbox One Scorpio geäußert. Bei dieser soll es sich zunächst einmal um die <strong>leistungsstärkste Konsole</strong> aller Zeiten handeln, was angesichts von einem Jahr Entwicklungsvorsprung gegenüber der PS4 Pro auch zu erwarten war.</p>

<p>Darüber hinaus ließ Greenberg aber wissen, dass die neue Xbox-One-Version in der Lage sein wird, <strong>natives 4K</strong> darzustellen. Diese Option bei allen Spielen gibt es im Moment nur bei leistungsstarken Gaming-PCs, die laut Greenberg mehrere tausend US-Dollar kosten sollen.</p>
<h2>PlayStation 4 Pro bietet oftmals nur 4K-Upscaling</h2>
<p>Das stimmt nicht ganz, denn einen sehr fähigen <strong>Gaming-PC</strong> mit 4K-Optionen gibt es schon für unter 1.000 Euro zu haben, wenn man die richtigen Komponenten einsetzt. Zudem kann auch die PS4 Pro natives 4K darstellen.</p>
<p>Worin Greenberg aber definitiv recht hat: die PS4 Pro wird natives 4K nur bei den wenigsten Spielen bieten, die meisten Spiele werden auf <strong>4K-Upscaling</strong> setzen. Sollte Project Scorpio einen Großteil der Spiele in nativem 4K darstellen, wäre dies natürlich ein immenser Vorteil. Auf den Markt kommen soll die Xbox One Scorpio gegen <strong>Ende 2017</strong>.</p>

<h2>Sony PlayStation 4 Pro: Positive Reviews zum Start</h2>
<p>Diese sind nämlich schon einen Tag vor dem offiziellen Start verfügbar und zeichnen ein positives Bild der PS4 Pro. Wenngleich auch erwähnt wird, dass sich ein Kauf der PS4 Pro nicht für jeden Kunden gleichermaßen lohnt, da für einen Kauf gewisse <strong>Voraussetzungen</strong> erfüllt sein sollten.</p>

<p>So wird beispielsweise in vielen Reviews erwähnt, dass ein <strong>4K-Fernseher</strong>, idealerweise auch mit HDR-Support ausgestattet, eine Bedingung ist, damit sich der Kauf der PS4 Pro lohnt. Weiterhin wird ein Interesse an <strong>PlayStation VR</strong> als Pro-Argument für die neue Pro-Variante der PlayStation 4 genannt.</p>
<h2>PC noch immer in Front, 4K-Spiele kaum nativ</h2>
<p>Ebenfalls interessant: für diejenigen, die bereits eine PlayStation 4 daheim haben, soll sich der Umstieg nur dann lohnen, wenn bereits ein 4K-Fernseher vorhanden ist und dieser mit passenden Inhalten gefüttert werden soll. Wer einen <strong>1080p-TV</strong> verwendet, der hat wenig Argumente, auf die PS4 Pro umzusteigen.</p>
<p>Zumal hierbei auch erwähnt werden muss, dass nur die wenigsten Spiele für die PS4 Pro in nativer 4K-Auflösung verfügbar sein werden. Vielmehr bekommen die Spieler in den allermeisten Fällen nur Spiele mit <strong>4K-Upscaling</strong> geboten.</p>

<h2>Uncharted 4 im Vergleich: Sony PlayStation 4 Pro mit 4K-Auflösung</h2>
<p>Für Uncharted 4, das von <strong>Naughty Dog</strong> exklusiv für die PlayStation 4 entwickelt wurde, hat es bereits einen Patch gegeben, der die 4K-Auflösung mit sich bringt. Ein neues Video zeigt bereits vor dem Release auf, wie sich die grafischen Unterschiede zwischen <strong>4K und 1080p</strong> zeigen &#8211; im Folgenden gibt es das Video zu sehen:</p>

<p>Dank des Updates ist nicht nur die 4K-Auflösung neu, sondern auch Support für <strong>HDR</strong> wird geboten, was nicht überraschend ist. Immerhin ist Naughty Dog ein Teil von Sony, sodass hier mit einem schnellen Update zu rechnen war, zumal <strong>Uncharted 4</strong> das wohl erfolgreichste exklusive PS4-Spiel ist.</p>
<h2>Native 4K-Auflösung nur bei wenigen Spielen zu erwarten</h2>
<p>Beim Update handelt es sich sehr wahrscheinlich um ein <strong>4K-Upscaling</strong>, nicht um eine Möglichkeit, Uncharted 4 in nativem 4K zu spielen. Dennoch lassen sich anhand des Videos bereits die Unterschiede zwischen 4K-Upscaling und 1080p erkennen.</p>
<p>Generell ist es so, dass die meisten Spiele für die PlayStation 4 Pro nur mit 4K-Upscaling aufwarten werden, nicht mit <strong>nativem 4K</strong>. Dieses dürfte für performance-seichte Spiele und Sony-eigene Spiele vorbehalten sein.</p>

So ließ House wissen, dass seines Wissens nach die meisten Spiele für die PS4 Pro nicht in <strong>nativem 4K</strong> veröffentlicht werden.</p>

<p>Stattdessen sollen die meisten Titel auf 4K-Upscaling, also <strong>1080p nativ</strong> auf 4K hochgerechnet, zurückgreifen, was laut House aber kein Problem sei. Immerhin sei die wichtigste Frage hierbei, ob die Spieler einen Unterschied zwischen 4K nativ und <strong>4K-Upscaling</strong> sehen würden.</p>
<h2>Upscaling oder nativ: Sony sieht kaum Unterschiede</h2>
<p>Für Sony scheint das Ganze keine große Sache zu sein, sondern eher ein Thema der Begrifflichkeit. Zudem sei es nicht irreführend, wenn Sony mit 4K wirbt, dieses aber bei den meisten Spielen nicht nativ angeboten wird. Dass es <strong>technisch gesehen</strong> und auch durchaus vom Auge her große Unterschiede zwischen nativem 4K und hochgerechnetem 4K geben kann, wurde nicht erwähnt.</p>

<p>In einem Blogpost hat Blow angekündigt, dass es zum Start der PS4 Pro am <strong>10. November 2016</strong> einen Patch für The Witness geben soll. Ebenjener <strong>Patch</strong> wird dann zum PS4-Pro-Start als Download verfügbar sein, sollten bis dahin keine Komplikationen auftreten.</p>

<p>Der Patch soll die <strong>Performance</strong> an die Hardware der PS4 Pro anpassen &#8211; während The Witness auf der normalen PS4 mit 60 fps auf 1080p läuft, sollen es auf der PS4 Pro mindestens <strong>1440p</strong> und <strong>60 fps</strong> sein. Sogar ein Upscaling auf <strong>4K-Auflösung</strong> ist denkbar, konnte aber noch nicht endgültig bestätigt werden. Wer kein 1440p- oder 4K-Display nutzt, bekommt dennoch eine Verbesserung geboten, und zwar in Form von <strong>4x MSAA</strong> statt des bisher verwendeten 2x MSAA.</p>
<h2>Mindestens 1440p bei 60 fps &#8211; auch 4K-Auflösung denkbar</h2>
<p>Natürlich ist es schon einmal sehr schön zu sehen, dass sich die Entwickler bereits jetzt Gedanken machen, die <strong>leistungsstärkere Hardware</strong> der PS4 Pro adäquat zu nutzen. Allerdings ist The Witness nun auch kein <strong>AAA-Titel</strong> und keine wirkliche Grafikbombe.</p>
<p>Dementsprechend dürfen wir gespannt sein, wie es bei der Umsetzung von etwa schnellen Shootern aussieht, bei denen die <strong>Framerate</strong> schnell einmal in die Knie gehen kann.</p>

<h2>Sony PlayStation 4 Pro: 4K- und 4K-HDR-Gaming möglich</h2>
<p>Die größte Neuerung der PS4 Pro im Vergleich zur normalen PS4 ist definitiv die Möglichkeit, Spiele in <strong>4K-Auflösung</strong> zu spielen. Und nicht nur das, sondern auch Spiele in <strong>4K-HDR-Darstellung</strong> werden von der neuen Konsole aus dem Hause Sony unterstützt.</p>

<p>Wer keinen 4K-Fernseher daheim hat, der muss sich aber keine Sorgen machen: alle Spiele laufen auch in <strong>1080p-Auflösung</strong>, werden dann sogar noch mit besserer und <strong>stabilerer Framerate</strong> dargestellt. Darüber hinaus bietet die PS4 Pro auch <strong>4K-Streaming</strong> an, etwa über Apps wie Netflix, Amazon Instant Video oder YouTube.</p>
<h2>Verkaufsstart am 10. November 2016 &#8211; Preis: 399 Euro</h2>
<p>Das Prunkstück der Hardware der PS4 Pro ist der neue Grafikchip, der von AMD stammt und die <strong>Polaris-Architektur</strong> bietet &#8211; über diesen erreicht die PS4 Pro nun 4,2 Teraflops. Was Sony der PS4 Pro leider nicht mit auf den Weg gibt, ist ein Blu-ray-Laufwerk, das <strong>4K-Blu-rays</strong> abspielt.</p>
<p>Wer also Filme in 4K-Auflösung über die neue PS4 anschauen möchte, muss diese streamen. Auf den Markt kommen wird die PlayStation 4 Pro in <strong>Deutschland</strong> und weiteren Ländern am <strong>10. November 2016</strong>, und zwar zum Preis von <strong>399 Euro (UVP)</strong>, womit Sony die neue 4K-Konsole passend zum Weihnachtsgeschäft anbieten wird.</p>
